The Valdez Amateur Hockey Association (VAHA) is an organization dedicated to bringing the sport of hockey to Valdez, promoting an active lifestyle for the residents of Valdez and supporting the community’s efforts to bring a multi-purpose activity center to Valdez. VAHA has applied for 501c3 non-profit status.

Seattle area hockey associations are happy to be supporting the VAHA!
Seattle Junior Hockey Association (Mountlake Terrace, WA) families are currently collecting used hockey equipment that Valdez players will be able to use.
The Puget Sound Hockey Association (Tacoma, WA) Board of Directors has agreed to donate their surplus equipment from their program to VAHA.
Donations will be delivered to Valdez in the summer of 2008.
Good luck to VAHA as you bring hockey to Valdez!
